Cost calculators

What will it cost?

Work out the approximate cost of transferring a property, registering a bond, and what the monthly repayment on that bond would be. Every figure is an estimate — speak to us for a firm quotation on your matter.

The cost of transferring a property into your name is made up of transfer duty payable to SARS, the Deeds Office registration fee, our conveyancing fee, and the payments we make on your behalf to obtain clearances.

These calculators are a guide only and produce estimates, not quotations. Transfer duty is charged on the SARS scale effective 1 April 2026; Deeds Office fees are those gazetted on 27 February 2026 (effective 1 April 2026); conveyancing fees follow the LSSA recommended guideline effective 1 July 2026, which is a guideline and not a fixed tariff. Figures exclude any bank initiation fee, occupational rent, levies or pro-rata rates. While every effort has been made to ensure accuracy, DW Attorneys accepts no liability for any error, or for any loss arising from use of these calculators. Contact us for a written quotation.
